What Are You Thinking?


…whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Philippians 4:8

Our thoughts are very powerful and have a big impact on our lives. If our thoughts are negative, hopeless and sinful, our lives will tend to be negative, hopeless and sinful.
On the other hand, if our thoughts are positive, hopeful and focused on God, then our lives will tend to be positive, hopeful, and focused on God.
This verse gives me comfort and hope that I can get past all the noise, junk and just plain messiness in my head that seems to dance around in there so often, and allow him to develop a heart in me that is truly focused on him.

You meant to write Philippians 4:8, I'm sure. I kept thinking that 4:13 was I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Good for you, making me look it up!...Hahaha
